palin-1 The Providence Journal reported that Sarah Palin is moving to Rhode Island. It cited a gossip column in the Anchorage Daily News.

Quahog is the fictional Rhode Island town that is the setting for the cartoon series, “Family Guy.”

Since stepping down as Governor of Alaska, the attacks from the dems and the media continue.  What is it that they are afraid of?  I think I know.  Click this link to find out for yourself:  The Palinphobes in the state-run media & in dem leadership just do not get it.  Every time they take aim at her they boost her public profile which puts her in a better position to fire back from Facebook land.

As much as anyone else, it’s the Palin haters who’ve made her a media superstar & who’ve driven everybody to her FB page to see what she’ll say in response, which in turn gives her gives her the massive – and absolutely free – public platform to whack the bejeesus out of Obama’s crooked crypto-fascist policies while she’s got the increased attention that the dems have inexplicably deliberately given to her!

Just how stupidly self-defeating can these lefties be?  It’s like taking yourself to the woodshed!  Or maybe it’s the VRWC at work. Using Karl Rove’s mind-control ray, they’ve forced all the libs to write scurrilous rumors to drive traffic to Sarah Palin’s facebook page.

Remember, all of the attention that Sarah Palin gets, whether it comes from the state run media or from the dems, is a true testament to how completely successful she is.  You know she is a threat by the number of attack dogs that surround her.  If she does move to Rhode Island let’s hope its not to close to Quagmire…Giggity, Giggity!

Progressive’s Love Bob Dylan

bob_dylan_4I admit I like Dylan too, but in listening to some Bob Dylan this morning;  the times, they are in fact changing.  But not in the way the liberal progressives in our country had hoped.  The Times Are A Changin is a protest song penned by Dylan back in 1963.  The lyrics are hauntingly relevant to today’s progressive agenda.  The song suggests that people get out of the way of social change and that waiting is no longer an option.

The song was written during the civil rights movement but it parallels the progressive game plan today.  Scan the lyrics below, read the lyrics.  Words like; The Time is now, senators and congressman head the call, don’t stand in the doorway, don’t block the hall.

Songs like Dylan’s had a positive effect on the civil rights movement.  But, the issues we are dealing with today are not civil rights.  The economy, the bailouts, cap and trade and last but not least, health care insurance reform are issues that require serious debate.  Lets hope the so called angry mob continues to debate.

The Times They Are A-Changin’

Come gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who
That it’s namin’.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside
And it is ragin’.
It’ll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don’t criticize
What you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin’.
Please get out of the new one
If you can’t lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin’.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin’.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’.

Move ’em on, head ’em up, Move’ em out, RAWHIDE!

Rollin, rollin, rollin, keep them doggies rollin, RAWHIDE!   You’ve heard me talk alot on the show about the fact that the liberal progressive democrats in our state and in our country have developed a divide and conquer strategy for America.  On the community organizing front they are using Saul Alinsky’s, Rules For Radicals.

“Obama learned his lesson well. I am proud to see that my father’s model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday.” –Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

On the policy side of things they are using the Cloward-Piven Strategy. A Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis.

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia Universitysociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

It may seem like all of this is too much for Uncle Sam to absorb! Many of us feel like we can’t take any more!  There has been so much doom and gloom but, Fear not, good news comes to us today in the form of a new Gallup Poll.

While the liberal progressives have been doing their best to overload the system and divide our attention and our center-right country, conservatives have circled the waggons!

The most encouraging part of the poll; Massachusetts, Vermont and Hawaii are the most liberal states, even though conservatives marginally outrank liberals even there. In Massachusetts, according to Gallup, 30% say they are conservative and 29% say they are liberal, a difference that falls within the margin of error for the state. In Vermont, 29% say they are conservative and 28% say they are liberal, which also falls within the survey’s margin of error for the state.

Conservatives Now Outnumber Liberals in All 50 States, Says Gallup Poll
 Monday, August 17, 2009
By Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief

( – Self-identified conservatives outnumber self-identified liberals in all 50 states of the union, according to the Gallup Poll.
At the same time, more Americans nationwide are saying this year that they are conservative than have made that claim in any of the last four years.

In 2009, 40% percent of respondents in Gallup surveys that have interviewed more than 160,000 Americans have said that they are either “conservative” (31%) or “very conservative” (9%). That is the highest percentage in any year since 2004.

Only 21% have told Gallup they are liberal, including 16% who say they are “liberal” and 5% who say they are “very liberal.”
Thirty-five percent of Americans say they are moderate.

During Republican President George W. Bush’s second term, the number of self-identified conservatives as measured by Gallup dropped, riding at a low of 37% as recently as last year.
According to new data released by Gallup on Friday, conservatives outnumber liberals in all 50 states–including President Obama’s home state of Illinois–even though Democrats have a significant advantage over Republicans in party identification in 30 states.
“In fact, while all 50 states are, to some degree, more conservative than liberal (with the conservative advantage ranging from 1 to 34 points), Gallup’s 2009 party ID results indicate that Democrats have significant party ID advantages in 30 states and Republicans in only 4,” said an analysis of the survey results published by Gallup.

“Despite the Democratic Party’s political strength– seen in its majority representation in Congress and in state houses across the country–more Americans consider themselves conservative than liberal,” said Gallup’s analysis.

“While Gallup polling has found this to be true at the national level over many years, and spanning recent Republican as well as Democratic presidential administrations, the present analysis confirms that the pattern also largely holds at the state level,” said Gallup. “Conservatives outnumber liberals by statistically significant margins in 47 of the 50 states, with the two groups statistically tied in Hawaii, Vermont, and Massachusetts.”
Massachusetts, Vermont and Hawaii are the most liberal states, even though conservatives marginally outrank liberals even there. In Massachusetts, according to Gallup, 30% say they are conservative and 29% say they are liberal, a difference that falls within the margin of error for the state. In Vermont, 29% say they are conservative and 28% say they are liberal, which also falls within the survey’s margin of error for the state.  In Hawaii, 29% say they are conservative and 24% say they are liberal, which falls within the margin of error for that state.

In one non-state jurisdiction covered by the survey, liberals did outnumber conservatives. That was Washington, D.C., where 37% said they were liberal, 35% said they were moderate and 23% said they were conservative.

Even in New York and New Jersey, conservatives outnumber liberals by 6 percentage points, according to Gallup. In those states, 32% say they are conservative and 26% say they are liberal.  In Connecticut, conservatives outnumber liberals by 7 points, 31% to 24%.
Alabama is the state that comes closest to a conservative majority. In that state, according to Gallup, 49% say they are conservative and 15% say they are liberal.
In President Obama’s home state of Illinois, conservatives outnumber liberals, 35% to 23%.

Gallup’s results were derived from interviewing 160,236 American adults between Jan. 2, 2009 and June 30, 2009.
Even though conservatives outnumber liberals in all 50 states, in 21 of these states self-identified moderates outnumber conservatives, and in 4 states the percentage saying they are conservative and the percentage saying they are moderate is exactly the same.

The two states with the highest percentage of self-identified moderates are Hawaii and Rhode Island, where 43% say they are moderate.
For a ranking of all 50 states by the advantage that self-identified conservatives have over self-identified liberals see the Gallup analysis here.

Envirowacko’s sing: It’s A Cruel, Cruel Summer! How to have your cake and eat it too!

bananarama_cruel_summeror maybe it’s just a  cool, cool summer.  New York has not had a day over 90 since April, the New York Times reported — THE LINK.  But reporter Sam Roberts wrote: “William D. Solecki, a geography professor at Hunter College of the City University of New York and co-chairman of a mayoral panel on climate change, warned that this summer’s unusually mild temperatures should not buoy global warming skeptics.”

Yes, because we all know that cold weather does not disprove global warming. Hot weather can prove global warming (it was 103 in Portland, Ore.) but cold weather cannot disprove it.

And then there was this excuse: “Apart from the humidity, the heat index and any other measure of your misery above or below ground, there is another reason you may feel hotter on any given day than the announced temperature in Central Park would suggest: the official thermometer there is housed comfortably in the shade.”

Remember: Everything proves global warming.  And the only way to stop global warming is to tax the hell out of the American people!
